In petrochemical and chemical production, the use of catalysts is very extensive and generally the product and the catalyst need to be separated after reaction. Inorganic ceramic membrane has good heat resistance, chemical resistance and good mechanical strength, showing prominent advantages in the petrochemical and chemical production, has been applied in many enterprises.
Different from traditional settlement, plate frame filtration and centrifugal separation, ceramic membrane adopts cross-flow filtration in the solid-liquid separation of catalytic reaction. Ceramic membrane has the advantages of high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, solvent resistance and other material advantages.
Coupled with the reactor, efficiency of the reactor can be improved, separation accuracy is high, and nano -scale catalyst can be separated.

Product introduction:
Ceramic membrane is a porous fine ceramic filter which is sintered from Alumina, Titania or Zirconia under ultra high temperature. Ceramic membrane normally has an asymmetrical structure with porous support active membrane layer. The macro porous support ensures the mechanical resistance while the active layer functions separation ranging from Microfiltration, Ultrafiltration and even Nanofiltration (from 10nm down to 1KD). Ceramic Membrane always runs at a CROSS FLOW FILTRATION mode. The turbid fluid goes through membrane layer inside the single channel or a multichannel at a high velocity. Driven by TransMembrane Pressure (TMP), the clean liquid with micro-molecule pass through the membrane layer vertically to permeation, the solid and big molecule is rejected in retentate. The feed fluid is thus clarified, concentrated and purified.

JIUWU Ceramic membrane element is made from alumina and zirconia which is an asymmetric membrane structure with multi-channel tubular shape. The pore is on the channel. Driven by operation pressure, the liquid is running in the membrane. The part less than pore size is permeation, the part lager than pore size is concentrated liquid, so as to achieve the separation, concentration and purification purposes.
Ceramic Membrane System
Skid-mounted device (Ceramic Membrane Filtration System) effectively allocates and stores machine for process and modular systems in the field of solid-liquid separation. A CMF skid-mounted device is designed by order and fully optimized as process flow, which includes CMF unit, power part, control part and supporting pipelines, valves and instruments. The device can be designed as a containerized device.
Ceramic Membrane ModuleHousing is designed with standard connectors (flange, clamp, whorl coping) to attach with incoming and outgoing piping. This includes a manifold, which directs incoming flow to all ceramic membrane elements in the housing. The housings are produced from different types of stainless steel, coated steel or plastic, titanium, as required by the application. The sealing material holds elements in the weakest place in housings. A wide array of materials (EPDM, Fluoro rubber, silicon) is available by customer's needs.

How Does Ceramic Membrane Work?
During filtration by means of ceramic membrane made by JIUWU the medium to be filtered flows through the channels of the membrane carrier. All particles whose size exceeds the pore radius of the membrane are retained. The particles /molecules build up in the concentrate. The filtrate permeates through the pores and depending on the procedure is subjected to subsequent process stages. This filtering method is also called "cross-flow filtration" or "dynamic filtration" . Cross-flow management can achieve stable fluxes. Cleaning is performed by means of backward flushing or chemical cleaning.
